• Client-Side Planetary & Astrological Calculations: All astronomical ephemeris equations, planetary positions (Lahiri Ayanamsa), Panchang computations, and Dosha checks run locally inside your browser memory via client-side JavaScript. Your birth date, time, and coordinates are never transmitted to or logged on any external server.
• Biometric Palm Analysis: When using the Vedic Palm Reader, palm outline extraction and mount measurements run 100% locally in your browser using HTML5 Canvas. Your palm image is never uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted to any server.
• AI Pandit & Anthropic Claude Inquiries: When you submit a question to the AI Pandit, the text query is securely transmitted to our backend endpoint (/api/pandit). Our system retrieves relevant canonical passages from the Shastric corpus and queries the Anthropic Messages API (Claude) to draft and verify responses against exact source verses. Inquiries are processed ephemerally in transit and are not sold or brokered. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, data sent via API is not used to train generative models.
• Devotional Inputs: Devotional prayer forms process names and Gotra ephemerally in browser session memory. We do not sell or rent devotee prayer data.
• Waitlist & Contact Information: If you join our Early Access waitlist or reach out via our contact channels, we collect your name and email address solely to grant platform access and provide requested correspondence.

We partner with Google AdSense to display advertisements across Divya Mangalam to support high-performance server hosting and sustain free access to our library of 2,046 Mahabharata chapters, 18 Mahapuranas, and interactive Vedic tools:

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick / DART cookie) to serve ads on our site based on users' prior visits to divyamangalam.com and other websites across the Internet.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
